kate moss for topshop : The final frontier!

The new Kate Moss for Topshop photos landed yesterday at a ungodly hour of the morning. So early that all I had time (or energy) to do was to put them up with no words attached. As you can see most of it is floaty hippie stuff, which you would expect.
But, there are a few limited edition pieces from previous collections there....
I have this in white from the first collection. I bought it when I was bigger and then lost weight. It's actually never been worn. But it was the sell out piece in 2007. Except in Limerick it seems, where there were loads of them left! So this season it's black and back!

Also a re-released piece. Not sure but I think this was her 2008 Xmas collection.
New piece. I kinda like this. But I would need to see it on first. I like the floaty pieces around the hardcore sequin center. sequins make me all levels of happy.

I hate this. I don't know if it's a skirt or trousers. It's awful.
Leather shorts. One thing that I really need for my A/W wardrobe!
Fringed cape.
This reminds me of Christopher Kane A/W 2010.
I presume this is a cape. I presume. I don't know why the neck piece looks like it has a hairband holding it together. But its a re-released piece from her last collection which featured nude capes for SS10.
This is an old piece which I fear has been thrown in because it didn't sell. Not many people cared that there was a collection of Kate Moss essentials last summer. No one reported on it. bar LOOK magazine. Which will report on anything. So this is one of the jersey maxi dress pieces. It's actually lovely on. But i would be pissed off if I had bought it and then it went on sale only to have it back up to full price for the Kate launch. That sucks.

I like this. Again it has all the elements it needs to make it into my wardrobe. It's black, layered, with a cape and a hint of sequins. Picture this over PVC leggings and some killer heels.
Rotten. Once again, why does she insist on so many nasty, floaty floral pieces? Hello! Laura Ashley Circa '96 called, they want their dress back.
Another 20's style dress.
Simple t-shirts. I have to admit, the woman makes a good t-shirt/vest. I have a blue vest I bought back in 2007 which is amazing on. It's just perfect. Although I will say to buy it as loose as you can get it for effect. Mine is a 16. I'm a 10. You get the idea...

There are a lot of these silky floaty numbers. They rarely look good on anyone. It looks like something my mom would pick. Horrible.


So a mixed collection. I am happy to see that she has picked a few pieces from her 2007 collection as it was her strongest collection. She has also chosen a few of the other pieces which are re-released well. Nothing from her A/W 2007 collection though. Which wasn't bad. It was all the floaty hippy stuff I couldn't stand. That is still here in massive amounts...sadly.
